Jeroni Granell Mundet was a master builder, craftsman and decorator. He earned his degree in architecture in 1854, but also held degrees in what today would be considered technical surveying and civil engineering.

His son Jeroni Ferran Granell followed in his footsteps, but his style was largely influenced by modernism.
